HaloCam

Terms of sale and use

HaloCam is made and sold by Halo Digital (ByFaith Global), Johannesburg, South Africa. Last updated 2 November 2026.

Free trial

You may download and use HaloCam free of charge for as long as you like. While unlicensed it shows a small “HaloCam TRIAL” badge on its video.

Licence

A HaloCam licence costs US$39, paid once through PayPal. It removes the trial badge for life and covers all 1.x updates. Your key is for you personally and may be used on the computers you use. Please do not share, publish or resell it.

Refunds

Because you can try every feature free before buying, we ask that you test HaloCam on your own PC first. If HaloCam does not work on your computer, email us within 7 days of purchase with your PayPal receipt and we will refund you.

Requirements

HaloCam requires Windows 11 and a webcam. It does not run on macOS or Windows 10.

No warranty

HaloCam is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, Halo Digital is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.

Open-source components

HaloCam includes open-source software (including MediaPipe models by Google under the Apache 2.0 licence, ONNX Runtime, and VCamSample under the MIT licence). Full notices are installed with the app in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
